Demco

History
The Demco Company was founded in Escondido, California in 1932 as a manufacturer of high-precision alloy grinders. George Allen, a machine shop owner, purchased the business and moved it to Bonsall, California. DEMCO was purchased by CMP Industries in 1998, and operation was relocated to Albany, New York.

Products
The Demco product line consists of two polisher grinders (a B1 variable-speed and an E96 2-speed) and a D1 dust collector for laboratories without central suction. Demco also operates an excellent spindle repair department in the Albany facility.  Click HERE for a link to DEMCO products.

Market
In the US, DEMCO grinders are very popular and enjoy the number 1 market share. Internationally, DEMCO products are sold into 32 countries. DEMCO’s popularity is due to both the durability and the quiet operation of its grinders. The E96 grinder and D1 dust collector carry the European CE mark.
